Covered Deck Transformed into Gorgeous Three-Season Room

Our clients in Cherry Creek Crossing loved spending time on their deck, which features a charming gabled deck cover.  However, the strong Colorado winds often forced them back indoors.  They dreamed of enjoying their outdoor living space year-round and turned to DBS to help transform their deck into a beautiful and functional 3-season room.

Designing a Three-Season Room

Working in partnership with City Glass, we designed an impressive three-season room that kept the charm of the original structure while dramatically increasing its usability.  Large glass panels were carefully incorporated to preserve the open views, while elegant sliding glass doors provide easy access and plenty of natural light.  The result is a comfortable, enclosed space that still feels bright and connected to the outdoors.

Upgrading the Decking

At the same time, our clients chose to replace their old decking with a more durable, low-maintenance option.  After exploring the many options available, the selected Deckorators Voyage Mesa, known for its beautiful finish, resistance to moisture, and long-lasting performance.  This upgrade ensures that the flooring complements the elegance of the new glass enclosure while requiring minimal upkeep.

Adding Architectural Detail

To elevate the appearance of the entire structure, we applied long-lasting acrylic stucco to the arch and columns.  This refined detail ties the new three-season room to the home’s architecture, creating a seamless polished look.

With their new three-season room, our clients can now enjoy their outdoor living space in comfort no matter the season.  Whether it’s summer sunshine, cool fall breezes, or crisp winter air, this transformation has given them a versatile retreat that blends beauty, function, and durability.
